Why I wrote this book

As I started to tell a few close friends the story of what was happening in my life in 2018, and I kept saying, “It’s a long story…,” the thought came to me that it might make a good book. I think so, but you’ll have to decide for yourself.

The first reason I’m writing the book, “To Be With You: The Illusion of Love,” is because I want to tell the story. Even though it is intimate and embarrassing, I feel I need to tell the truth of it. Truth plays a major role in this tale, actually. And it is a true story.

I believe the Lord told me, while I was still in the midst of it, “I’ve given you a story no one else has; tell the story.”
So I am.

Secondly, I want to share what God is doing in my strange situation and in my life; the lessons I’m learning from going through this extreme life experience. (My blog and my life now focus on God and what he is doing in my life, leading me, going forward.)

And the third reason is to save myself from bankruptcy, but more than that, pay off the debt, or whatever path the Lord chooses for me. I am praying and believing that God is going to do a mighty miracle (or just many little ones) in my life through this book. No matter what, it is in God’s hands and it will be for His Glory. Amen!

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

Romans 8:28 NIV
